How to Install Phase Plant Presets

Installing Phase Plant presets is simple once you know where the files need to go.

Quantum Presets Phase Plant packs are supplied as preset files or folders that can be added to your Phase Plant User Presets location. Once installed, they will appear inside the Phase Plant preset browser.

Step 1: Unzip the Download

If your Quantum Presets download comes as a .zip file, unzip it first.

Inside, you should find the Phase Plant preset folder for the pack.

Step 2: Open Your Phase Plant User Presets Folder

Find your Kilohearts Phase Plant user preset folder on your computer.

On Windows, this is usually:


Documents\Kilohearts\presets\Phase Plant\User Presets

A full example path may look like:


C:\Users\YourName\Documents\Kilohearts\presets\Phase Plant\User Presets

On Mac, your Kilohearts preset folder is usually inside your user Documents folder:


Documents/Kilohearts/presets/Phase Plant/User Presets

Step 3: Copy the Preset Folder

Drag or copy the Quantum Presets Phase Plant folder into:


Phase Plant/User Presets

For example:


User Presets/Quantum Presets - Ultimate Chord Stabs

or:


User Presets/Quantum Presets - UKG Organ Basses

Keeping each pack in its own folder makes it easier to find inside Phase Plant.

Step 4: Open Phase Plant

Open Phase Plant inside your DAW.

Then open the preset browser.

Your new Quantum Presets folder should appear inside the User Presets area.

Step 5: Rescan or Restart if Needed

If the presets do not appear straight away, close and reopen Phase Plant or restart your DAW.

You can also refresh/rescan the preset browser if your version of Phase Plant shows that option.

Troubleshooting

If your Phase Plant presets do not appear, check that:

  • the download has been unzipped first
  • the preset folder is inside the correct User Presets folder
  • the folder structure has not been changed or broken
  • the files are Phase Plant preset files
  • Phase Plant has been restarted after copying the files
  • you are looking inside the User Presets section of the browser
