Phase Plant presets are managed inside the Kilohearts preset browser. The User folder is the default location for saving your own presets, but Phase Plant also allows you to add extra preset locations from inside the browser. Kilohearts’ own preset documentation says the User folder is the default location for personal presets, and extra folders can be added with Add Location.
The easiest way to find your Phase Plant presets is usually from inside Phase Plant itself:
- Open Phase Plant.
- Open the preset browser.
- Find the User folder on the left side.
- Use the browser options to reveal or manage your preset location.
- Add another folder location if you want to keep third-party presets somewhere else.
Third-party Kilohearts content banks may install differently. Kilohearts says third-party .bank files can be installed by drag-dropping the bank file onto any running Kilohearts host plugin.
For Quantum Presets packs, always follow the install instructions included with the download. If the pack comes as standard Phase Plant preset files, place them in your chosen user preset location or add the folder inside Phase Plant. If the pack comes as a Kilohearts bank, install the .bank file using the Kilohearts bank method.
